VMS mobile units
Stuer-Egghe makes good use of the variable message signs (VMS) in her signalling trailers and her crash attenuators (TMA's). Because of a solid build, simple controls and an easy programming the Stuer-Egghe VMS units can be put to work by almost anyone.
Programming is done with an ordinary PC working under Windows with a dedicated software to create the texts and images. The composed messages are then transferred to the signalling board on a memory stick or by using a cell phone network.
The remote control is done on a control box equipped with function keys and context menus. The lit LCD screen allows to visualise the massages and to monitor the movements of the unit.
The equipment also permits the integration of security functions, such as anti-theft and global positioning.
